Description

Baked lobster tails with garlic herb butter sauce served with creamy mashed potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter for mashed potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the lobster tails by cutting the top shell with kitchen scissors.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Stir in parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush the garlic herb butter over the lobster meat.
  7. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  8. While the lobster is baking, boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
  9. Drain the potatoes and mash them with milk and 2 tablespoons of butter.
  10. Serve lobster tails with mashed potatoes on the side.
