Description

These baked apple cider doughnuts are moist and flavorful, topped with a sweet cinnamon maple glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, boil apple cider until reduced to 1 cup.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and reduced cider.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Pour batter into a greased doughnut pan.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  8. Let cool before glazing.
