Description

A healthy twist on classic deviled eggs using avocado.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot of water and bringing to a boil for 10 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in cold water, then peel them.
  3. Cut the eggs in half and remove the yolks.
  4. In a bowl, mash the yolks with avocado, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill the egg whites with the avocado mixture.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
