These authentic Amish refrigerator pickles are a delicious and tangy side dish.
Ingredients

- 4 cups sliced cucumbers
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon dill seeds
Instructions
- Combine cucumbers and onions in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, and dill seeds until dissolved.
- Pour the vinegar mixture over the cucumbers and onions.
- Stir well to coat all the vegetables.
- Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
