Crunchy and refreshing Asian Cabbage Slaw.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, green onions, cilantro, and sesame seeds.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture.
  4. Toss to coat the vegetables evenly.
  5. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Serve chilled for best flavor.
  • This slaw can be made a day ahead.
