- 1 box of brownie mix: approximately 18 oz
- 2 large eggs:
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil:
- 1/4 cup water:
- 2 medium apples: peeled, cored, and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar:
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract:
- 1/2 cup walnuts (optional): chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Stir until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the diced apples with ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Add walnuts if using.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Spread it evenly, then spoon the apple mixture over it. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes before dusting with powdered sugar and cutting into squares.
