- 2 large sweet potatoes (about 500g each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and peel them.
- Cut the sweet potatoes into long, slender sticks, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a small saucepan, warm the pure maple syrup over low heat.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sweet potato sticks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper, and toss to coat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Transfer the cooked fries to a bowl, drizzle with warm maple glaze, and toss to coat.
- Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
