- 2 medium apples (Fuji or Honeycrisp work best)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray or a small amount of oil for greasing
Instructions
- Select firm and crisp apples, preferably Fuji or Honeycrisp.
- Wash and dry the apples, then slice them into very thin rounds, about 1/8 inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix ground cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt. Lightly spray apple slices with cooking spray or toss with oil, then coat with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F) for 3-5 minutes.
- Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove the chips and let them cool on a wire rack before storing in an airtight container.
