A classic 7 layer salad recipe featuring fresh vegetables and creamy dressing.
Ingredients

- 1 head of lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup cucumber, diced
- 1 cup bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup peas, frozen and thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup bacon bits
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
Instructions
- Layer the chopped lettuce in a large bowl.
- Add tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, and peas in separate layers.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the layers.
- Top with bacon bits.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar.
- Spread the dressing evenly over the salad.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
