These soft and buttery dinner rolls are quick to make and perfect for any meal.
Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add melted butter, warm milk, and egg to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball and place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise for another 15 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Brush with melted butter before serving.
Notes
- Use warm milk, not hot, to activate the yeast.
- Rolls are best served warm.
- You can add herbs for extra flavor.
